In order to keep the lines of communication open and maintain feelings of closeness, we need quality, one-on-one time together. To facilitate this, I’m giving my husband a year of preplanned dates for Valentine’s Day. Here are a few more creative date ideas we think you’ll love – Date Night in a Jar, Conversation Starters, and 12 Daytz of Christmas. According to History.com, the Roman calendar had a similar structure, with the new year coming on the spring equinox, consisting of 10 months and 304 days. Thanks to king Numa Pompilius, the months of Januarius and Februarius were afterwards added.
This is the gift that keeps couples laughing, trying new things and making memories together. Everyone has busy lives and the dates are here to help them spend quality time doing things they might not have thought of otherwise. This is actually the 3rd time I’ve done the full gift, but I’ve realized I’ve never posted the full gift to get the holistic picture. I thought this was the year to bite the bullet and give a full preview. The dates are fun and easy to come up with, it’s actually doing them that can be hard!

Labor Day
Some were actual events that had to happen on a specific day, while others could be done at any point in the month. A few were free or really cheap which allowed room for some more expensive dates. My goal was to force us to prioritize our relationship with a monthly date night. Since the dates were already scheduled and paid for, we didn’t have an excuse not to do them. In fact, we did it twice we enjoyed it so much the first time. Also, we totally had the kids with us, but dropped off by the train tracks, and took turns running around the store.
